
Mondi, a global player in sustainable packaging and paper solutions, has completed the acquisition of Schumacher Packaging’s Western European plants, marking a significant expansion of its production capacity, innovation capabilities, and product portfolio. The deal adds over one billion square meters of corrugated packaging capacity and introduces solid board solutions to serve the growing needs of the eCommerce and FMCG sectors.

The acquisition includes state-of-the-art converting plants in Ebersdorf and Greven, Germany, known for their high-performance equipment and product quality. These additions will allow Mondi to offer greater production flexibility and support for customers aiming to reduce waste, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve sustainability goals.
